One of the most frequently asked questions we have is ‘how to look after my benchtop?’
What do I clean my benchtop with?
For everyday cleaning, wipe your benchtop with warm soapy water (mild detergent) and a damp cloth. Red wine, fruit juice, coffee, tea, tomatoes, citrus fruit, soft drinks and certain spices can stain your stone benchtop, wipe these off IMMEDIATELY with water and a damp cloth.
Is my stone benchtop heat resistant?
NEVER place high temperature pots, pans or baking dishes directly onto your benchtop as this can damage your stone.
We RECOMMEND that when using small kitchen appliances such as electric frypans that you use something that will protect your benchtop such as a trivet or an insulating pad.
